EMBER

EMBER is JOHNWESLEY.AI’s practice groups for Wesleyan discipleship in the AI era

The Groups

The purpose of each group is to use, and be in the presence of, AI to construct faith, together.

Each group is made up of four people (including James from PASTORIA who leads the group) and enter into a session of one hour at time

How It Works

In each session, the group will:

  1. Identify the area of life in which God’s grace is at work (as well as the type of grace at work, according to Wesley’s theology)
  2. Engage in the dialectic and hear from diverse voices about how to care for one’s soul in that area of life
  3. Stay up-to-date and involved in the shaping of both AI as a technology as well as its socio-economic, political, and environmental implications

The Fall 2026 Season

In 2026, a prototype group is launching to test this concept. Clergy, in particular, from backgrounds of great diversity are encouraged to request an invite via the button below.

PARTICIPATION FEE

For the protoype group during The Fall 2026 Season, there is no fee required.
